Zoho CRM Plus vs Zoho One: Which Bundle Should You Actually Buy?
One bundles nine customer-facing apps. The other bundles the entire Zoho catalogue. The choice looks like a price question but is really a question about who in your company needs software.
Related service: Zoho One Implementation →Almost every Zoho evaluation eventually hits the same fork: buy Zoho CRM Plus, or buy Zoho One? Both are bundles. Both are cheaper than buying the same apps individually. And both are sold per seat, which makes them look directly comparable when they aren't. The deciding factor is rarely the headline price — it's how many people in your business will genuinely touch the software, and whether the departments outside sales and support need it too.
What each bundle actually contains
Zoho CRM Plus is a customer-experience suite. It bundles the apps a revenue and support team touches daily — CRM, Desk, Campaigns, SalesIQ, Social, Projects, Survey, SalesInbox and Analytics — under one licence, with those apps pre-wired to share the same customer record. There are no editions to pick inside it; everyone on the licence gets the full feature set.
Zoho One is the whole catalogue: 45-plus applications spanning sales, marketing, support, finance, HR, operations, IT and developer tooling. It includes CRM, Desk and Campaigns, but also Books, People, Inventory, Creator, Recruit, Expense, Workplace and the rest. Editions vary by app, and a few premium tiers sit outside the bundle.
Rule of thumb: CRM Plus is a departmental bundle. Zoho One is a company-wide operating system. If your problem statement mentions payroll, accounting or inventory, you are already outside CRM Plus territory.
The price comparison, honestly
| Bundle | Indicative 2026 price | Who you have to license |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho CRM Plus | ≈ $57 / user / month billed annually (roughly ₹4,200 in India) | Only the users who need it |
| Zoho One — All-Employee | ≈ ₹1,500 / employee / month billed annually | Every employee in the company, no exceptions |
| Zoho One — Flexible User | ≈ ₹3,500 / user / month billed annually | Only the users you assign |
Figures are indicative for 2026, billed annually and before 18% GST on Indian invoices. Zoho revises regional pricing periodically — verify current pricing on Zoho's official site before you build a budget on these numbers.
That table produces a result most people don't expect. On a per-seat basis, Zoho One All-Employee is dramatically cheaper than CRM Plus, and Zoho One Flexible User is often in the same neighbourhood or below it. The catch is the licensing rule attached to All-Employee: you must license everyone on your payroll, including the people who will never log in.
Running the break-even
This is the calculation that decides most deals, and it takes two minutes. Take your total headcount, then take the number of people who actually need software.
- A 60-person company where 12 people work in sales and support: CRM Plus covers 12 seats. Zoho One All-Employee would bill all 60. CRM Plus is usually the cheaper answer.
- A 25-person company where 20 people need some Zoho app — CRM for sales, Books for finance, People for HR: All-Employee on 25 seats typically undercuts CRM Plus on 20 seats, and you get far more software.
- A 200-person company where 30 need software and half of those need finance or HR apps: Zoho One Flexible User on 30 seats is usually the winner, because All-Employee on 200 is wasteful and CRM Plus can't cover finance or HR at all.
- A 15-person agency that lives entirely in CRM, Desk and Projects: CRM Plus, comfortably.
The pattern: CRM Plus wins when your software need is narrow and your headcount is wide. Zoho One wins when the need is broad, or when your headcount is small enough that licensing everyone is cheap.
Three things that quietly change the answer
Price modelling alone will mislead you if you ignore these.
- Growth direction. If finance is moving off spreadsheets next year, buying CRM Plus now means a migration and a renegotiation later. Zoho One absorbs that expansion at no extra licence cost per seat.
- Contractors and part-timers. All-Employee's 'everyone' definition includes most of your staff — check how your workforce is classified before you assume the cheap tier applies.
- Feature depth inside apps. CRM Plus ships CRM at Enterprise-level capability. Zoho One's included editions differ app by app, and a few advanced tiers (higher Analytics or Desk editions, for instance) sit outside the bundle and cost extra. If one specific app is your critical system, compare the included edition, not just the app name.
What we recommend when clients ask
If the conversation is strictly about sales and customer support, and the rest of the company runs on something else that's working, CRM Plus is a clean, lower-risk purchase. It is simpler to administer, simpler to explain internally, and there's nothing to switch off later.
If the conversation has drifted into invoicing, leave requests, stock, or 'we'd also like to build a small internal app for this', you are describing Zoho One, and buying CRM Plus first usually means paying twice. As a certified Zoho partner we model both against your real headcount split before anyone signs anything — the difference between the right and wrong bundle on a three-year horizon is routinely larger than the entire implementation fee.
The one-line version
Count the people who need software, then count the departments. Narrow need across a large company points to CRM Plus. Broad need, or a small company, points to Zoho One — and in that case check whether All-Employee or Flexible User is cheaper for your specific headcount.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upgrade from Zoho CRM Plus to Zoho One later?
Yes. Your CRM, Desk and Campaigns data stays in place — the apps are the same underlying services, so a move to Zoho One is a licensing change rather than a migration. Plan the switch around your renewal date so you aren't paying for both, and expect some admin work to set up the additional apps you've just unlocked.
Is Zoho One always cheaper than Zoho CRM Plus?
No. Per seat it usually looks cheaper, but the All-Employee model requires you to license every employee. For a company with 100 staff where only 10 need software, CRM Plus on 10 seats is typically far cheaper than Zoho One on 100. Run both numbers against your actual headcount before deciding.
Does Zoho One include everything in Zoho CRM Plus?
The applications overlap heavily — CRM, Desk, Campaigns, SalesIQ, Social, Projects, Survey and Analytics all appear in both. The difference is in the included editions of some apps, which can vary. If a specific advanced feature is critical to you, confirm which edition ships in each bundle rather than assuming they match.
